Woikoski Feeling’s attractions include WHD Gård and Woikoski Car Museum in Nurmaa, Woikoski Factory Museum in Voikoski and Kirjokivi Mansion in Vuohijärvi. We offer an atmospheric setting for the most important events of your life – from weddings and birthday parties to christenings and other family occasions.
Woikoski Car Museum
Woikoski Car Museum features a private collection of around 40 vehicles that are linked to the history of the industrial gas company Oy Woikoski Ab and its owners, the Palmberg family. The guided tour focusses on rare vehicles and fascinating family stories.
Woikoski Factory Museum
Woikoski Factory Museum opened in July 2015, and it tells the story of Woikoski and its old factory. Visitors will discover how a factory that produced carbon black, founded in Vehkalahti in 1882, developed into today’s Oy Woikoski Ab. Tickets to the museum can be purchased from Saiman Torppa, a charming summer café situated by the rapids.
Restaurants
WHD Gård has three restaurants that can cater for groups of up to 50 people. Juureskellari is an atmospheric à la carte restaurant situated in an old root cellar. It is open to the general public during the summer months. The restaurant can be hired for groups all year round.
Esson Baari and Hilupilttuu offer catering and conference services for business customers and other groups. These restaurants are available for hire all year round.
Kirjokivi Mansion
Kirjokivi Mansion dates from the late 1890s, and it provides an atmospheric setting for unforgettable weddings and other family occasions. It is also a perfect venue for meetings and corporate events. There are facilities for up to 60 people. The mansion is fully licensed.
