Vanha-Rantala House Museum is the number one destination in Pertunmaa and it is located near the village of Pertunmaa. It has a main building, a farmer house typical of the region, and the granaries and the sauna of the estate area. Each building is in its original place.
Vanha-Rantala has been the site of archeological excavations. In 1928, the master of the house found grave ruins on the field and further research determined that it was a grave of a rather rich lady from around 1000, which is quite peculiar as Pertunmaa was thought to be wilderness during that time. A monument has been built in memorial of of the grave findings.
