The Culture Space 22 is a cultural space in the center of Mikkeli, at Maaherrankatu 22.

Culture space 22 offers art stuff with a low threshold and a research approach. Come say hello, have a coffee or hang out!

The operating principles of Kulttuuritila 22 are openness and courage: everyone is welcome to spend time in a space where special attention has been paid to a safe atmosphere and accessibility for everyone.

The program has taken into account the fans of traditional theater storytelling, but there is also plenty of space for topics and voices that shake up the truths of the spectrum of being and social power structures. During the artistic activity break, Culture Space 22 is a space open to everyone, inviting to hang out and meet, where there is also a casual cafe.

Kulttuuritila 22 is a project of Mikkeli-based Performing arts collective Kaukasus, which is supported by Kone Foundation.
