Build in 1848. Building has been used as a museum since 1960.
Rustic objects from South Savo and exhibits reflecting the local history of Mikkeli.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum has themed exhibitions, which change annually.

On eves of holidays museum will close at 16.00.
